Hiring intentions stabilise for the final quarter of the year

The decline in Australia's hiring intentions is stabilising, according to the latest ManpowerGroup Employment Outlook Survey.

ManpowerGroup's long-running employment index is calculated by subtracting the percentage of employers who expect to reduce staffing levels from those who plan to hire.

Australia's seasonally adjusted net employment outlook (NEO) for the December quarter stands at +14%, just one percentage point lower than the September quarter, but down 18 percentage points from Q4 last year...
