Revamped EVP cuts time to hire as job views skyrocket

Since retooling its employee value proposition last year, a not-for-profit employer says its ability to attract staff has increased dramatically and hiring is no longer reactive.

"We are now able to actually create talent pools because people know who we are and want to work for us," said Mariam Hares, chief people and culture officer at Sydney Children's Hospitals Foundation (SCHF).

Hares said time to hire was now 20 days, on average, compared with the industry benchmark of 44 days, and SCHF now handles most of its recruitment in-house...
